GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The AIR! Readtail (Automatic Intelligent Reader) is probably the most versatile RFID product of the AIR! family catalog: easy to install on multiple surfaces, thought to face any industrial challenges you may imagine and suitable for a wide range of demanding industrial applications.
Specifically designed for severe environmental condition applications with demanding long distance and high speed read/write, such as vehicle identification, heavy logistics and high volume retail solutions. Inside, the single board core contains hardware modules, equivalents for HEART, BRAIN and MUSCLE.
Its powerful control board includes a battery unit meant to provide and keep enough energy to secure RFID data in case of an unexpected shut-down. It also runs the best in class current reading technology: an Impinj/Zebra reader, the “muscle” unit that sends and receives electromagnetic signal for the microPC to process. The “brain’s” proprietary software turns RFID inputs into business data, allows static filtering readings and permits fast integrations with any management system (SAP, ERP, CRM, DBMS).

Designed

The AIR! Readtail is easy to install on multiple surfaces and reading different orientations (overhead, side, on base, lateral on wall, pole or ground for railway applications). AIR has a high gain internal antenna, with high circular pol arization and with three radiation pattern options: A11, A12 and A22.
